A family-owned and operated business with a two-decade presence in the food and beverages (F&B) space, XYMOGEN is a pioneering manufacturer of dietary supplements and functional foods. Starting as a marketer of practitioner-channel supplements, the company expanded its operations in 2012 by constructing its own manufacturing facility. Today, the facility serves as the preferred contract manufacturing organization for many industry-leading brands.
XYMOGEN’s experience in marketing its own brand inspires the company to establish partnerships founded on trust and transparency.
“Many of our clients lack transparency from other contract manufacturers,” says Kyle Blackburn, Director of Product Development. “Despite GMPs being in place for over 15 years now, you still see companies hesitant to share batch records, testing methods, sources of ingredients, formulations, all critical pieces of information a brand requires to fulfill their regulatory obligations as a brand owner and ensure they are getting the product they intended to go to market with.”
Providing a full turnkey service, XYMOGEN offers on-site R&D, analytical laboratory testing, packaging, warehousing, and even labeling— digital labels, cartons, and flexible packaging through its on-site digital print subsidiary, XYMOPrint— all to complement the variety of dosage forms it manufactures.
“We provide a convenience uncommon elsewhere in the industry through our one-stop shop for clients,” says Angel Camacho, Business Development Manager for XYMOGEN.
Concerning dosage forms, XYMOGEN manufactures two-piece hardshell capsules, tablets—solid, chewable, or fast melting—and powders. From a packaging standpoint, it offers automated bottling, high-speed blister packaging, and a variety of flexible packaging options, including sachets, stick packs, and multi-dose packs.

Smaller scale batches are typically mixed in totes and elevated to an upper mezzanine where gravity conveys blends directly towards the next stage of production, which depending on the batch, could be a fully automated Bosch capsule filling machine, a Kikusui double-sided rotary tablet press, or a packaging line using any of the aforementioned packaging options.
The facility is NSF GMP registered and certified organic by SCS Global Services. Temperature and humidity are controlled and monitored throughout all production areas, including a 2,400-square-foot drive-in cooler for storing more sensitive materials like probiotics and SAM-e. Computer vision capabilities are a component of many of the packaging lines. These capabilities are backed by mobile notifications that allow personnel to ensure all product weight, quality, and packaging-related specifications are maintained throughout production.
XYMOGEN prides itself on being the perfect fit for F&B and nutraceutical companies seeking more control over their brand. Having a brand of its own, XYMOGEN is always at the forefront of addressing emerging challenges, which poises it to continue helping clients manufacture quality products that consistently support the health and wellness of their end consumers.
