The award-winning tequila is crafted with 100 percent organic agave and produced at the certified organic distillery Tequilera Tap in Amatitan, Jalisco, boasting the highest standards of certification. Pantalones also partners with fourth-generation agave growers and second-generation tequila producers to source its agave from the lowlands of Jalisco. This ensures a legacy of expertise and dedication. Its production methods integrate cultural, biological, and mechanical practices that foster resource cycling, promote ecological balance, and enhance biological diversity.

One of the standout achievements for Pantalones came during the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition, where the Añejo expression was awarded the esteemed Double Gold—an honor reserved for spirits that receive unanimous acclaim from all judges. Additionally, the Blanco expression, its organic tequila earned a Gold medal, while the Reposado took home a Bronze.

As a proud member of ‘1 percent for the Planet’, Pantalones channels its efforts towards sustainable practices that improve its products and contribute to a healthier planet for future generations. Following its launch, the brand announced a partnership with the Surfrider Foundation. The collaboration focuses on community beach clean-ups across the east and west coasts, as well as the Gulf of Mexico, creating events where individuals can unite to make a positive impact.

Pantalones also emphasizes eco-friendly packaging and shipping processes through partnerships with INOArmor® and GreenLoop. INOArmor® uses natural silkworm cocoons for padding, creating durable, reusable, and compostable eco-mailers. Additionally, in collaboration with their distillery in Amatitán, Pantalones adopted upcycled agave pallets for shipping, working with BIOPALL by Green Loop. These innovative pallets are made with 35 percent agave fiber and 65 percent FSC-certified wood, reducing waste from tequila production and minimizing tree logging.
