Creating a Moment of Joy in Every Jar

Dan Taylor, President of Sales and Marketing , Jar Joy

Food Marketing Leader

Editor’s Note: Food brands earn lasting relevance when everyday products create emotional connections that extend beyond taste, packaging or convenience. Taylor’s perspective offers food industry leaders a useful lens on how thoughtful brand experiences can strengthen consumer engagement while keeping product enjoyment at the center of commercial growth.

Dan Taylor is President of The Batter to Platter Company, the creator of Jar Joy, a dessert brand found on more than 7,000 store shelves and restaurant menu boards across the U.S.

The gap in today’s single-serve, ready-to-eat dessert market is driven by a more sophisticated consumer’s desire for a truly unique chilled dessert treat experience that’s affordable. Consumers want to indulge and reward themselves with a high quality multi-layered convenient snack that’s different. It’s an opportunity for consumers to escape the hectic pace of today’s life with a tiny little vacation, what we like to call a moment of joy. This is exactly why Jar Joy was created in fact to deliver a consistently high quality driven unique dessert snack offering to a well-deserved market. This market extends not just to traditional retail store shelves but also to food service channels galore as a quick serve dessert solution. Fast, friendly and ready to eat, simply add a spoon and enjoy.
