Recognising the potential of liposomal production in improving nutrient absorption, Hymato invested in specialised equipment and advanced from laboratory trials to pilot-scale production. Liposomal technology is used for ingredients that don’t dissolve in water, since such compounds are absorbed poorly by the body. Hymato focused on key non-soluble nutrients like Q10, curcumin, glutathione and resveratrol, using liposomes to improve their absorption.

Even with water-soluble vitamin C, natural absorption is restricted to 100 to 500 milligrams per day, while liposomal delivery increases it nearly fivefold. Hymato’s first liposomal formulation, based on vitamin C, became a leading supplement in Hungary and is now produced in multiple flavours for major partner brands. The company developed a drying method that transforms liquid liposomes into solid particles that dissolve instantly in water, creating the foundation for its next-generation phytosome system.
